In front of my house...well a house, okay it's Hopetoun House.

My name is Neil Spowart, I was born and brought up in Edinburgh and have worked in the city for over 30 years. I know Scotland very well having visited much of it over the years. I am prone to story telling, often make jokes and enjoy the interaction with the people with whom I work, even when they ask me difficult questions.

I am a qualified Blue Badge member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association. This qualifies me to guide throughout Scotland and means I am fully insured in respect of Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

I am currently using a Mercedes V Class for my tours. It has leather seats, air conditioning (for the three or four days a year when we need that) and can seat 6 passengers.

It also has a longer body which means I can accommodate (hopefully) all your suitcases, shopping and whisky.
